Yes, XG Coating Products are formulated to be safe for all types of paint or clearcoat. XG Coating will not damage your clearcoat or paint and will not void any manufacturer warranties.
No, XG Coating will not Crack, Peel or Yellow. XG Coating products have undergone SGS testing and real-life testing which will not lead to fade, crack, peel or tallow.
No, once XG Coating is applied you will never need to polish or wax again. Cleaning your vehicle’s paint is as easy as maintain as your glass/windshield. No need for abrasive washes or any waxes/sealants.
The process of XG Coating will take 6-8 hours. The 1st step is to wash and prep the vehicle. The 2nd step is to correct all the imperfections in the paint such as swirls and scratches. Once the vehicle is properly prepped, a body pre coat will be applied to the entire vehicle to get to bare paint. At this stage the coating process will begin, and each panel of the vehicle will have XG Coating applied, levelled, and stacked to achieve the package you have selected.

No, XG Coating will not prevent water spotting, but it WILL allow those pesky water spots to be easily removed without damaging the surface. After application of XG Coating, it will create a protective layer over the substrate, it does not allow the minerals to corrode or etch the surface that XG Coating is protecting, prolonging the life of your metals, paints, gelcoat, plastics etc.
Yes, XG Coating does an excellent job protecting your chrome from corrosion, oxidation and discoloration. The self-cleaning effect also makes maintenance a breeze. No need to continuously polish your chrome finishes to keep its original luster.
XG Coating warranty varies according to packages from minimum 3 years up to 7 years. That’s longer than any wax or sealant can last on the market!
No, XG Coating cannot be washed away like a wax or sealant giving it long lasting results. You must use abrasion (wet sand/compound/polish) to remove it.
6h,9h,10h refers to the hardness test of the coating in the lab. The higher the hardness the better its durability from scratch, watermark etc. For XG Coating products its hardness is between 9H to 10H.
Yes, can be coated if your car paint is still in good condition. If it’s faded or with deep scratch it is advisable to paint first prior coating.
If your paint surface rusted, we can coat your car, but the rusted area can still be seen as polishing will not help to remove the rust. It is advisable for you to paint your car first before coating.
Yes. If the scratch is not deep, then we can remove it via polishing prior coating. If the scratch is deep, not much can be helped through polishing however if you wish to coat it, we can do so.
Maintenance
You should wait for 7 days before the 1st wash to allow the solvents to outgas and the coating to fully cure. Keep in mind the coating is softer so work on the paint very gently.
We recommend you come for a treatment every 6 months once. During treatment we will remove any watermarks, recoating, engine detailing and free windscreen coating.
No!!! XG Coating Products are the permanent replacement to wax and sealants. You can throw those products in the trash!

WINDOW TINT
According to the JPJ, the regulations require a minimum of 70% Visible Light Transmission (VLT) for the front windscreen and a minimum of 50% for the front sides windows. However, for side rear and rear windscreen can be up to 100%.
VLT is Visible Light Transmission. VLT is the amount of visible light that passes directly through filmed glass. The darker the tint, the lower the visible light transmitted.
Total Solar Energy Rejected (TSER) is the percentage of the total solar energy that is rejected. TSER includes visible light, infrared radiation and ultraviolet energy. The higher the percentage, the higher the percentage of solar energy deflected. Most tinting shops use Infra-Red Rejection (IRR) as a guide to the level of heat rejection. However, IRR only covers a fraction of TSER. Internationally, TSER is used as a guide as it is a more accurate way of measuring heat rejection.
Ultraviolet Rejection is the percentage of ultraviolet energy deflected away from the window film. Ultraviolet rays can cause upholstery and furnishings to fade. It can also cause skin damage and skin cancer.

In short, yes. All XG Automotive Window Films are carefully selected to comply with current JPJ regulations. (Minimum VLT of 50% for sides and rear, and 70% for front windscreen).
After installation, it is advisable to keep your windows closed for a minimum of 48 hours. There might be watermarks present, which will disappear in a couple of days. If you should decide to remove the tint, there will be no permanent stains on the glass. Any leftover adhesive can be easily removed with cleaning agents.
The time it takes to finish a car tint installation depends on a several factors:
(a) Car type (saloon / MPV)
(b) The amount of window surface area the installer has to work with
(c) Whether old tint has to be removed before hand
(d) The amount of time needed to deal with complex window shapes
